>

Usually, there is a critical factor for car lovers to judge a vehicle over all other various models, and that is power output. The bigger, more robust, and more powerful the engine, the more expensive a car is in the minds of many people.

Every car enthusiast knows that generating the total power of a car is not limited to its engine as other parts, including transmission, give a hand to practice declared energy. Here, the term “powerful cars” means stock horsepower, not the horsepower on cars that can win street races with many aftermarket modifications or some rocket cars that have been built specifically to break land speed records out on the Salt Flats.

The following is a list of ten top cars of the last decade, which were the world’s most powerful production cars, ordered by their horsepower from the least to most powerful.

Over 13 Million Vehicles Recalled In 2020…And Counting!

>

Does anybody remember the awesome pickup commercials of the 1990s and early-2000s that featured massive heavy-duty trucks pulling enormous payloads up steep ramps wreathed in flames? Once upon a time, car ads were all about power and reliability, while today’s tend to focus on amenities and creature comforts like Bluetooth connectivity, panoramic sunroofs, and ventilated leather seats. Meanwhile, electrification and autonomous software have begun to remove the need for internal combustion engines and even drivers from cars. But as the pace of technology’s advancement quickens, many skeptics can be forgiven for thinking cars are, if anything, getting worse. And now, research by Finance in Bold shows that there’s a strong case to be made that automakers are getting worse at their job, with over 13 million cars recalled due to safety flaws during the 2020 calendar year already.

via Finbold

The year is barely more than halfway past, and yet automakers have issued massive recalls. Forget visions of the future where flying cars allow anyone to get anywhere with ease—humans these days might just want to avoid regular rolling automobiles altogether! A few companies stats stand out from the pack, notably Toyota, a brand that used to be synonymous with reliability and durability of products like the Tacoma and Corolla. Instead, in the first six months of 2020, Toyota has recalled a massive 3.952 million car already.

via CleanTechnica

Meanwhile, Ford leads American automakers with 2.9 million vehicles recalled, while Volvo comes in at 2.8 million, a figure which isn’t helped by the fact that the Swedish firm recalled its entire lineup back in March. Fiat-Chrysler, long known as a bastion of breakdowns, comes in at 1.74 million and Honda earns the dubious honor of fifth place with 1.4 million units recalled. Of course, sheer volume plays a factor in the figures—Toyota can be slightly forgiven just because of the number of cars it sells, having led the world in sales revenue in 2019. Volvo, on the other hand, isn’t even in the top ten!

New Porsche Documentary Gives Look Inside Taycan Assembly Line

>

Porsche’s EV revolution has begun, as the Taycan hits the streets across the globe and delivers massive performance—at a massive price tag. Following early teasers and rumors about a “Mission E” and statistics that boggled the mind, the Taycan has nonetheless impressed with drag-strip domination and top speed runs both documented extensively in the short time since the model’s debut. And now, Porsche has allowed the filming of a documentary inside the Taycan’s manufacturing facility at Zuffenhausen, giving fans an in-depth view into the car that will (hopefully) propel one of the world’s most enigmatic automakers into the future.

Available to view now for free on YouTube, the film was organized by WELT Documentary. It’s a bit dry and technical, with none of the concomitant tweeting and drama that might surround a doc about Tesla’s rival factories in Fremont, where Elon Musk has earned plenty of media coverage thanks to lockdown refusals, overnight stays, and building an enormous tent because a walled factory is so 20th-century.

Just like any other manufacturer short of legit supercar builders like McLaren, Bugatti, and Koenigsegg, Porsche’s Taycan factory is largely automated. And, in fact, much of the documentary focuses on the factory-within-a-factory element of the three-story facility, where all the robots that built the Taycan are also built.

Only about 300 humans show up to this Zuffenhausen address every day, where they’ll contribute to installing (then removing) body panels and doors—and, of course, keeping an eye on the robots. The result is a clear look at the facility where the new Taycan takes shape, so it’s fun to watch the styling (like a futuristic Panamera, honestly) of the car emerge around the early mechanical layout.

These Are The 10 Greatest 600Cc Bikes Ever Made | HotCars

>

The 600cc bike category, commonly referred to as the supersport class, is a range of sports bikes that were in high demand during the early years of the 21st century. The highlighting factor of these bikes was their immense popularity with the younger buyers in the market, as well as the abundant racetrack technology they featured.

The latter was due to the use of this class of bikes in myriad supersport championships all over the world. Although many supersport bikes have been released in the market since the early 2000s, some made a greater impact as compared to others. These better performing bikes in this class-range can be regarded as the greatest 600cc bikes ever made.

10 Kawasaki GPZ 600R Ninja

The Kawasaki GPZ 600R Ninja is probably not even considered when speaking about the greatest 600cc bikes ever made. However, without the creation of this model, this category of bikes might not even have existed.

Having all the essential features that a 600cc supersport bike needs to have, including four cylinders, water cooling, and full fairing; the GPZ 600R gave birth to an entirely new range of motorcycles, forcing other companies to take notice and join the game. This classic bike, which was a smaller capacity variant of its 900cc predecessor, has since been lost to oblivion and probably is the sole reason that Kawasaki became a huge name in the 600cc class.

9 Suzuki GSX R600

An esteemed member of the 600cc family, the Suzuki GSX R600, received its last major update, as recently as 2017. Commonly known as the Gixxers, this model developed by Suzuki is capable of cornering and braking with ease while remaining incredibly fast.

Although the earlier models of this series were uncomfortable to ride, Suzuki made sure that it rectifies these drawbacks. With the recent updates to the model, it has become spacious, upright, and comfortable, features that are quite attractive in a market that has numerous players and rivals.

8 Kawasaki ZX6R

via Kawasaki

Kawasaki upped their game with the powerful and fast ZX6R, a model that lives up to everything that the company stands for. This bike has a larger engine measuring 636cc but is an intimate part of the 600cc class. The best way to describe the ZX6R would be to refer to it as a motorbike that satisfies all the prerequisites that are essential for a 600cc bike while possessing a distinct character of its own.

This powerhouse is capable of churning out a torque of 48.1 lb-ft and a formidable 130 hp, and the only hurdle a rider might face in handling this beast is learning how to tame it. However, once that is accomplished, the ZX6R is
